Tuscany

Winner of the Overall Design & Build APL Awards, 2020, this project was to design and build a large Tuscan-style walk-through garden for an elevated section of a larger site. The client’s vision was to use the position to provide different views of the Sussex countryside, while creating antiquated, hard landscaping in Breccia of Agnano style, alongside structural planting to create different but complementary views of the garden from numerous approaches.

“A superb recreation of a ‘Tuscan Style’ terrace executed with real craftmanship and passion. The garden took into account its surroundings…The shapes, textures and vistas created by the use of the reclaimed materials were truly stunning and displayed a high degree of knowledge of hard landscaping, with a sympathy and true feeling for the materials used. A great example of design and build.”
